Kenichi Soga receives the 2026 Ralph B. Peck Award

Kenichi Soga is the recipient of the 2026 Ralph B. Peck Award from the ASCE Geo-Institute. The Award is presented for “outstanding contributions to the geotechnical engineering profession through the publication of a thoughtful, carefully researched case history or histories, or the publication of recommended practices or design methodologies based on the evaluation of case histories.”

Professor Soga will receive his award and deliver the 2026 Peck Lecture titled “Revisiting the Observational Method” on March 12, 2026, at the Geo-Congress 2026 meeting in Salt Lake City, Utah.
