Guidance
The Geosystems Master’s Program is designed for the brightest, most motivated future engineers who want to shape the future of the built environment.
- Cutting‑edge, interdisciplinary curriculum – blends field investigations, advanced laboratory work, and high‑performance numerical modeling.
- Mentorship from leading researchers – interaction with faculty who drive the frontiers of soil‑structure interaction, sustainable foundations, and geomechanics.
- Hands‑on experience – students get experience with training in the field, the laboratory, and in numerical modeling.
- Thriving community – students are part of a dynamic environment that fosters both academic and personal growth. The department hosts weekly seminars from industry leaders and academia, as well as distinguished lecturers. Graduate students organize research symposia and hold meetings to discuss navigating coursework, career planning, and research topics.
Through Fellowships, the Geosystems Consortium, and the Geosystems Alumni Association, the program provides opportunities for financial support:
- Partial or full funding for both US-based and international students.
- Graduate‑Student‑Instructor (GSI) positions that provide valuable teaching experience.
